21_ thingsI got what I needed from painting people and went back to things and collage paintings.
The series became trying to see if I could I bridge the earlier black & white image collages with the newer portrait colors and style clashes?
Men behaving badly, male/female relationship politics, mortality of tropes.
I enjoyed making the compositions as awkward as the image juxtapositions, mixes of art, movie stills and French romance magazines, along with my own flowers, toys and objects.
When the collages stopped giving what I was looking for, I moved on.
